Frank 'N' Soup
On October 31, we sponsor a unique coat drive for local school children, by inviting the whole neighborhood to bring family and friends to stop by for franks, soups, sides, desserts, and Halloween goodies.
In 2025, we gave away over 200 new winter coats to
schoolchildren in need.

Care Packages and Kits
We regularly make and collect items and assemble kits for organizations such as:
local nursing homes,
local care facilities,
and many more

Sharing Food and Meals
From the Blessing Box that stands outside the church building, to volunteers who make and serve dinners to people in need in the community, to the fellowship meals we host here at Good Shepherd, we believe in sharing God's love through sharing something to eat.

Red Cross
Blood Drives
Good Shepherd provides a welcoming space (and great snacks!) when we host Red Cross blood drives a few times a year.

AARP Tax-Aide Tax Preparation Services
IRS-certified volunteers from Good Shepherd and elsewhere provide free tax preparation services through the AARP Tax-Aide Program, with a special focus on taxpayers who are over age 50 and have low to moderate income.

Financial Gifts to Organizations that Make a Difference
The people of Good Shepherd support several organizations that provide help and services
to those in need, including the Hope & Rest Temporary Shelter, St. Luke Community Clinic, CCAP, and more.
